I have finished piecing the grandbaby quilt top. Jen and I did a little bit of tweaking to the pattern, deciding that we wanted to showcase the cute kids on the fabric, as well as the fabulous stripe that Jen loves so much. It's a simple pattern, but so effective with these fabrics. Right now I'm trying to decide how to quilt it. Arggh! That is my least talented area of quilting. Honestly, I'm a little afraid to even start. Any suggestions?

very, very cute. I love the colors. I really don't like to quilt either. I love to shop for fabric and bind the quilt - those are my favorite parts. After I'm done piecing I feel like I should be done sewing, but of course, I'm not! Good luck. I loved how you did words in your other quilt. Maybe since you don't have a name yet you could spell out I Love You mixed with stars and swirlys. I know you will come up with something great.
It's so cute, Kaye! Jen and the baby will love it. Valerie kept a quilt that Great-Grandma Jordan made for her for literally years until it was just in shreds. She slept with it clear into her teen years. I hope this one is loved that much!
